About Hilltop Apiaries

It All Started With One Hive… on Hilltop Drive.

Our father started his backyard gentleman's farm with a few chickens. Next came the goats. Then the bees. What began with one hive over 10 years ago has grown into a thriving Connecticut honey business rooted in ethical beekeeping, quality, and sweetness in every jar.

From extraction to bottling, we focus on keeping our honey exactly as the bees made it: 100% pure and raw—never pasteurized, filtered, or blended. This preserves the natural enzymes, pollen, and rich floral flavor unique to every season and harvest.

Today, Hilltop Apiaries maintains hives on family-owned farms throughout the Farmington Valley, producing pure wildflower honey and partnering with trusted beekeepers who share our commitment to responsible beekeeping practices.

Together, we proudly serve customers throughout New England and provide pollination services to local orchards through our partnership with Farmer's Bee.

Welcome to the Hive

Whether you're drizzling honey into your tea, gifting a jar to someone you love, or cracking open one of our honey sodas, we're so happy you're here.

Crafted Close to Home

Our honey-infused soda collection is made in collaboration with Avery's Beverages using Hilltop's pure and raw wildflower honey. Together, we've created naturally sweetened sodas that celebrate local craftsmanship, nostalgic flavor, and high-quality ingredients.

More Than Honey

Hilltop Apiaries is also a proud supporter of the Haiti Beekeepers Society. Every purchase of our honey products supports not only local beekeepers, but also newly trained beekeepers in one of the world’s most economically challenged countries.

We believe beekeeping has the power to strengthen communities, support sustainable agriculture, and create meaningful opportunities—both locally and around the world.
